We had another great week at Lyman Elementary! Our PBIS ticket winners got to ride in an armored vehicle today. Huge thank you to Sheriff Manger for taking the kids!! Mrs. Schindler's fifth grade science class practiced measuring liquids for future labs. And, of course, congratulations to our students of the week!!! #raiderpride

We had an outstanding first week of school at Lyman Elementary full of fun assemblies, activities in the classrooms, and some lucky PBIS ticket winners squirting Mrs. Smith with water! It's going to be a fabulous year!!! Congratulations to our first students of the week!

GAME DAY! Tonight our Lyman Raider Football team opens up the 2024 season vs. the Dupree Tigers in Presho. Game time is 7:00 PM CST. JOB. OPENING: The Lyman School District is looking for an ASSISTANT COOK for the kitchen at Lyman Elementary in Kennebec. If you would enjoy the opportunity to work as a team in our district, we would like to talk with you. The ASSISTANT COOK ensures the kitchen is orderly and assists to prepare and arrange food. ANNOUNCEMENT! All 6-12th grade boys and girls interested in going out for Cross Country, there will be a meeting tomorrow immediately after school in the Commons area. Please bring a water bottle, practice clothes, and running shoes as we will have our first practice tomorrow following our meeting. See you tomorrow!

ANNOUNCEMENT! Anyone interested in playing middle school football that has not already contacted Coach Kieffer of Coach Moore, please sign up in Coach Lex Moore's room tomorrow throughout the day. Be prepared to sign out your equipment on Wednesday and start practice this week. Make sure everyone that is going out for any fall sport has their physical and parent consent forms completed and signed! Thank you and Go Raider!

ANNOUNCEMENT! Middle School Volleyball will have a meeting on Wednesday August 21st immediately after school in Mrs. Wagner's room for all middle school girls interested in playing middle school volleyball. Please bring your gym clothes on Wednesday in case we are able to practice or have open gym. Thank you!

BACK TO SCHOOL ! Welcome back students! Just a couple quick reminders for tomorrow. ALL STUDENTS who drive to school will need to park in the East parking lot just east of the Lyman Gardens. The main parking lot will be reserved for staff and bus parking. Also, all 9-12th grade high school students will meet in the Raider gym to start school for a quick assembly. Middle school students will report to their middle school homeroom teachers. If you were unable to attend the open house or if you were unable to get your schedule, we will have them at the assembly in the morning! Looking forward to a great first day of school. Go Raiders!
