Lyman elementary Announcements February 11, 2021 Students the weather is very cold, please remember to dress appropriately- Bus students when you get on the bus in the mornings you need winter coats, hats and gloves. The girl’s basketball team will leave at 1:30 for double header in Philip. The JV girls will play at 4:00 ct followed by boys Jv, girls varsity and then boys varsity. The boy’s bus will leave at 2:15. Good Luck! The middle school boy’s basketball team will play Wall in Presho today. The “B” game will start at 4:30 followed by the “A” game. Good Luck! Tomorrow the girls basketball team will leave from Presho at 8:15 for the Corn Palace. The Raiders will play Howard at 11:00. Advanced tickets can be purchased at DWU athletics. There are tickets available at the door but limited to 1000 tickets for the morning session. Masks are required. Both girls and boys games can be watched on line at http://portal.stretchinternet.com/dwu/ Saturday the high school boy’s team will play at the Corn Palace at 11:30 against Bridgewater/-Emery. Advanced tickets are available at DWU athletics or at the door. Only allowing 1,000 spectators for the first and second sessions. Masks are required. Good Luck! The high school boy’s basketball team will travel to Lead tomorrow. The bus will leave at 8:00am from Presho. The JV will start at 12:30mt followed by the varsity. Each player will be allotted 4 tickets for spectators. Masks strongly recommended, tickets are not needed for high school students but are needed for preschool thru middle school aged kids. Good Luck! On Monday the high school girls will play Chamberlain in Presho starting at 6:30 with the JV followed by varsity. Good Luck! The middle school game on Tuesday in Presho is only two games, “C” team will play first at 4:00 followed by the “B” team. The high school student council is partnering with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to have a fundraiser from 1/26-2/12. Hero Squad Fact of the Day- In the last 3 years only 4 blood cancer drugs were created specifically for children. Results from JV wrestling in Burke- 2nd Brayden, Easton and Isaac, 3rd Ayden and 4th Lane Today the high school girls’ and boys’ basketball team will play New Underwood in Presho starting at 5:00. The boys varsity will play first in the Gardens at 5:00 and JV girls in the Raider gym at 5:00. The girls’ varsity will follow in the Gardens and JV boys in the Raider Gym. Good Luck! Lyman Elementary families: This month's AR party is sledding and because we got some snow last night, we are taking advantage!! The sledding party will be TOMORROW!!! Please send students with all their gear- snow pants, boots, hats, gloves, etc. If they have a sled to bring, please send it! Also, send a change of clothes. They usually end up getting wet. There will be a second session on Saturday starting at 11:00. Good Luck! Saturday there will be a “C” and “JV” boy’s basketball game in White River. The “C“ team will play at 12 followed by the “JV”. Four tickets per player for the fans in attendance. The high school boy’s basketball team will play in the Jones County Tournament next week. The Raiders will play Thursday the 14th at 11:30. Each team will be allowed 100 fans in attendance per game. If you would like a ticket, please contact the high school at 895-2662. Students will not be required to have a ticket prior to entrance.
